I enjoy working with people who struggle with addiction in order to help them create a healthier way to process life stressors. I continue to study new research that explains how addiction has physically altered the brain and new ways to assist people in creating new coping skills. In my experience, addiction is usually the surface problem. I work to address the addiction issues along with underlining issues, such as mood disorders (depression, anxiety, etc.).
