Dr. Rogers completed his residency at the Hahnemann Medical College Hospital in 1982 and joined the faculty at Temple University Medical School as Associate Director of Family Medicine. Following his tenure there he was named as director of Underwood-Memorial Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program and served there five years before opening his private practice. As a family physician for over 30 years, he has seen firsthand the impact addiction has on people and their families.
Shira has her B.S. in Psychology from Florida State University and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Barry University. She has worked in the behavioral health and addiction fields for almost twenty years. Shira believes all people deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and have the power within themselves to reach their potential and sometimes can use support in doing so.
Hailey received her Bachelor of Science in Counseling from Lesley University and her Master of Arts in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University. She embodies the philosophy of treating and healing all aspects of an individual’s life; mind, body, and spirit while utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities and techniques, including CBT, DBT, MI, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Body-Centered Psychotherapy.
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
Alexis received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University and is currently certified as both a Family and Addictions Nurse Practitioner. She has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages struggling with addiction and maintains an evidenced-based understanding that addiction is a chronic disease as opposed to a lack of willpower; a very common and unfortunate misconception.
Rebecca received her Bachelor of Arts in Family Studies from Samford University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. She joins the Rally Point team with experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family therapy as well as substance abuse counseling. Rebecca is passionate about restoring hope and facilitating healing for individuals and families impacted by addiction.
Angela has had a diverse career in the field of dietetics since becoming a Registered Dietitian in 2010. After earning a B.S. in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Georgia, she has held positions in the clinical, research and substance abuse rehabilitation settings. Angela has a passion for providing people with the tools necessary to become the best version of themselves.
A New Jersey native that now calls South Florida home, Andrew has worked in the substance abuse field since 2006 and has experience at a variety of the levels of care offered. He has worked in detox, inpatient, the acute care psychiatric crisis unit, outpatient, and the transitional living settings. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge with him. Andrew shows a true compassion for helping those who suffer from addiction and possesses the skill set to treat this condition.
