Chief Executive Officer
Eva Hartwell, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Freedom House for Women, a non-profit Recovery Housing, Outpatient Treatment provider and Supportive Service organization in Akron, Ohio. Eva brings 21 years of both professional and lived experience in substance use disorders (SUD) and recovery. Ms. Hartwell received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Education (2001) and achieved her Master’s in Community Counseling from The University of Akron (2005).
Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA)
Ashley is a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) at Freedom House for Women. She received her license in 2018 from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Board. Ashley holds an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from Kent State University (2018). Aside from counseling, Ashley assists in the areas of but not limited to: group facilitation, case management, and administrative duties.
