Why Cincinnati UMADAOP?
Our philosophy to service delivery is that substance abuse is best prevented and treated when the cultural dynamics of the group being targeted are addressed in the process of education and recovery.
While maintaining accountability and collaboration as cornerstones for our service delivery system, we also work to keep pace with the challenges of an ever-changing community.
Therefore we continue to grow and expand to meet the needs of our community. In response to community need, we have expanded our focus from solely substance abuse prevention to include addiction treatment and co-occurring disorder treatment, gambling prevention and treatment, environmental tobacco smoke education/awareness, HIV/AIDS outreach and education, relapse prevention for the re-entry population and outreach and education for faith communities.
We understand that substance abuse affects the total person, their family and the community in which they live.
