Adena's Baby-Centered Recovery has been nationally recognized by Hospital Charities as "A Program of Promise" and by the Center for Medicaid and Medicare as "A Best Practice Site".
The program goals are to help pregnant woman who are dependent on drugs, ensure healthy pregnancies, and provide prenatal and postpartum support for mothers and infants. We strive to help women move beyond opiate dependence by encouraging social supports, linking clients to community and providing education about pregnancy and addiction. Medically assisted treatment is offered as well as a plan for participant's detox after infant's birth.
We work with Adena's Ob/Gyn providers and staff throughout your pregnancies to provide optimal services in a non judgmental group atmosphere that is both supportive and fun. In conjunction with group therapy, we offer individual supportive services to women who might need additional help.
Note: We are child friendly(small play area adjacent to group space) and allow your child(ren) and/or baby to attend group with you if needed. Light refreshments are also provided at group for both clients and their children.
